Brendo's Housemade Pasta
Cavatelli can be prepared with any sauce but is best suited for cream or thickened broth sauces.
We recommend searing some strips of beef in hot olive oil, and sautéing with red onions and garlic. Add some reduced beef stock, cooked cavatelli, and some pasta water. Allow the sauce to thicken, season with salt and add some fresh arugula. Plate and garnish with herbs, cracked pepper, & parmesan.
- Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil
- Add frozen pasta and boil 6-8 minutes, or until al dente.
- Strain, reserving pasta water to add to your pasta if needed, and add to your desired sauce.
- Season, plate, and enjoy!
