The home base for TIME Family of Wines is at TIME Winery & Kitchen in Penticton, BC, where three-storied BC wine labels live: the McWatters family legacy brand the McWatters Collection, Evolve Cellars, and TIME Winery. The wines are made using grapes grown in the Okanagan Valley. The unique terroir of the region allows complex flavours to develop, giving the wines a rich and authentic Okanagan taste. The winery team has leveraged its long-standing relationships with growers to access the best fruit for all three of the wine labels.
Many recognize the McWatters name, a family that has created more than 50 vintages in the Okanagan; led by the late founder Harry McWatters. As new owners, the Mayerts are well-positioned to ensure continuity of what the McWatters family has established, and build from there with the next generation: Christa-Lee McWatters appointed as general manager and sister Darrien McWatters as the operations manager. Each sibling is armed with lifelong wine industry experience and insight.
Lynzee Schatz, winemaker, crafts the portfolio of the three distinctly different labels by working with grape growers to source top-quality fruit. The goal is to produce the best BC wine via its downtown crush pad located in the heart of wine country.
